It is a fundraising campaign led by Rotary District 6330 in support of Rotary International’s PolioPlus programme. Coco, the Ambassador of Impact, travels the world with the Rotary President to help raise $1,000,000 USD and end polio for good.
Every donation goes to Rotary’s PolioPlus programme, which funds polio vaccines and immunisation campaigns worldwide. It costs about $3 to protect a child for life.
Yes. Donations are processed by The Rotary Foundation, which issues receipts and handles tax-deductibility according to the rules of your country.
Through Rotary’s partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, every $1 given to PolioPlus becomes $3 in the fight against polio. Your impact is tripled.
You can donate online by card, or by cheque within the United States and Canada. Head to the Donate page to choose the option that suits you.
When donating online, use the email address Rotary already has on file for you. That way your giving is matched to your record and counts towards your points.
A donation is given now. A pledge is a promise to give, for example an amount for every country Coco visits, or a personal goal. You can make a pledge on the Pledge Wall.
